Alicia Marcillas

An architect from the ETSAB (Barcelona School of Architecture) with over 20 years of experience in the design and construction of sustainable buildings with maximum energy efficiency. She holds a postgraduate degree in building energy efficiency from Oxford Brookes University. In 2007, she obtained the official certification as a Trainer in Energy Certification of Buildings, and in 2025, she received LEED AP certification as a sustainable building specialist. She has worked at the COAC (Official Association of Architects of Catalonia) as a technical advisor and instructor. She also has extensive experience collaborating with architectural firms on energy simulations and passive and active building improvements.
